We have recently completed the long awaited FAQ (প্রশ্নোত্তর) and Books Sections. The FAQ section contains commonly asked questions about Math Olympiad preparation. Currently this section contains only the questions of the beginners. Soon, we shall create a FAQ for more advanced people. We hope that the FAQ for advanced people will be helpful for the students preparing for Math Olympiads around the world. However, new section on recommended books should satisfy most of the students, from beginners to advanced, to choose the correct book for their preparation. Today the students of KMC has taken their mock test 02. As far as I know, they have done fairly well, and solved number of problems. So, The problem set of Mock Test 02 is now available for everyone. I'll add the answer sheet as early as possible. So...happy problem solving. we have got 50 students enrolled in two groups and we have closed the enrolment. We are happy to get these young genius people. They are doing really well. I hope that they will do very well in BdMO. Wish some luck for them. ***Date:22.12.2008, enrolment closed. |
We have successfully arranged a mock test in KMC. About 40 students have taken this test. We are surprised with the response of the students. Only in group A, about 30 students have taken this test. As far as we check they have done fairly well. The problems were selected from the hard problems of BdMO divisional 2008. |
Here, I am pleased to announce that Kushtia Math Circle has successfully passed its very first week. We have taken 8 classes (4 in each group). They students have learned basic Combinatorics, Number Theory and sequence. The students will take a mock BdMO test on 21^{st} December. We shall check and judge their improvement by this test and before the course is over we shall take another mock test. In the upcoming weeks we shall start solving problems and teaching some more advanced things. We shall also upload the problem sets and more books shortly. Till then, stay with us. As a part of intensive training for BdMO divisional we shall take 10 classes and 2 mock tests. This will increase the problem solving ability of the students. The training will cover all the topics that are necessary for math olympiad. We shall also discuss the solution of the past BdMO problems. |
Today, we have started our special training for upcoming Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad (BdMO). We arranged two classes. One for Primary and Junior (Group A) and another for Secondary and Higher Secondary (Group B). The class of group A was from 9:15 am to 10:45 pm and the class of group B was from 10:50 am to 1:00 pm.
